Prices are displayed in USD from the active public catalog. Stripe shows the final total and any applicable tax before payment. A checkout redirect alone does not confirm payment or add credits.
How many songs do credits buy?#
One generation request reserves 20 credits, regardless of which supported model you choose. A completed request can return multiple tracks; a track is not a separately charged request. The cards above show request counts, not a guaranteed number of delivered songs.
When are credits added?#
Credit packs are added after the payment service confirms a paid invoice. Monthly plans add credits on each paid monthly invoice. Annual plans add the full annual allowance upfront on each paid annual invoice, with no monthly distribution. An unpaid or pending checkout does not add credits.
What happens if generation fails?#
A confirmed provider rejection or failed task returns its reserved credits once. An uncertain submission keeps its reservation while it awaits confirmation. Keep the task ID and check its status before submitting another song. Returning generation credits is separate from refunding a Stripe payment.
Are retries and task lookups charged?#
Balance checks and existing-task lookups do not consume generation credits. Reusing the same UUID and payload does not reserve credits twice. A new UUID starts a new paid request, including a deliberate regeneration of the same lyrics or description.
How do I cancel a subscription?#
Open your billing dashboard and use the Stripe billing portal to manage your subscription. Cancellation is configured for the end of the current billing period. Review the effective cancellation date and any applicable tax in Stripe before confirming.
Do unused credits carry over?#
Unused credits carry over between billing periods; there is no automatic expiry or monthly reset. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals and does not remove your remaining credits. Existing subscriptions retain their original price and credit allowance; the new offers do not automatically change an existing contract. For payment refund requests, email support@sunoapi.com with your invoice ID for review.
How do I switch to a new plan?#
Existing subscriptions keep their original contract. Open your billing dashboard to see the current price, credit allowance and billing-period end. To choose a new offer, cancel renewal in Manage billing, wait until the subscription ends, then subscribe again. There is no automatic plan change or prorated switch, and your unused credits remain available.
